HARLEY WLA 75th ANNIVERSARY RIDE

Harley Davidson began producing the famous WLA in 1940. Small changes were made in the next couple of years, but it was the 1942 model that was really the standout; when the army was buying them hand-over-fist, and production soared. It has become a legendary year model.

In 2017, the iconic model turned 75 years old. There were 75th anniversary rides organised. This is the story of one of them. It was published by the Wagga Wagga Veteran & Vintage Motor Club, appearing in their club's magazine in the December 2017 issue. I thought it was a great story, and they kindly allowed me to copy it and publish it here.
